World No Tobacco Day 2007
Supported by World Health Organization (WHO), NMSS is observing this year's No Tobacco Day by organizing following events, primarily aimed at conveying message, which the slogan of the year, Smoke-free inside; Create and enjoy 100% tobacco free environments tries to impart.
Objectives
To create awareness and sensitizing medical students, health personnel and public on adverse impacts of tobacco. Highlighting: importance of tobacco-free life

- All Nepal Inter- medical Marathon Competition
- All Nepal Inter- medical Essay Competition
- Tobacco-free Fun games and Fun fair
Date and venue
31st May, Thursday, Basic Science Building, Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj
Participation
- Young doctors, interns, medical students and public health students of Institute of Medicine and various other medical colleges within and outside the valley
- Plus two students and general public
- Senior doctors and faculties will be invited for the program
